What is CDS and who qualifies?
Consumer Directed Services (CDS) allows Missouri Medicaid recipients to hire and direct their own caregivers, often family members or friends. You must be a Missouri resident with Medicaid eligibility who needs help with daily activities.
Do you accept MO Medicaid and Home State Health Plan?
Yes, we are an approved provider for both MO Medicaid and Home State Health Plan. We also welcome veterans and private-pay clients.
How do Veterans receive services?
Start with a call to us at (314) 764-2021. We'll talk through the care you need and what may help pay for it: MO HealthNet Consumer Directed Services, where you choose your own caregiver and we handle the payroll; VA pension with Aid and Attendance, which adds money to a veteran's monthly pension; or private pay. If you need help applying for benefits, we can point you toward resources that may be able to assist. We are not affiliated with the VA.
What's the difference between in-home care and adult day care?
In-home care provides one-on-one support in your home. Adult day care offers a structured program in our Brentwood facility with social activities, meals, and supervision during weekday hours.
Do you provide transportation?
Yes, transportation is available for our Adult Day Care program. Contact us to discuss transportation options for other services.
How soon can services start?
After your intake appointment, we work quickly to match you with the right caregiver or program. Timeline varies based on your specific needs and coverage verification.
